In the Milan home more than once the shadows regarding the ownership have taken over, but the arrival of Elliott and the results of the field of the last year, after complicated seasons to say the least, has restored some clarity to the environment. Ivan Gazidis, the club’s chief executive, talked about the property during his interview with The Gazzetta dello Sport:

I can say that, just as there is no timetable in terms of goals , Elliott has no time limits on his management of the club. As for Gordon (Paul’s son, ed), he too is an expert and passionate about football, and follows Milan closely: he often sends me messages during the games to comment on them, but he will never call me to say “I want you to change the manager” or that “a player is not doing well.” What the ownership believes is a serious project, with a clear strategy, which can bring back the club at high levels, and not in passion without control. Milan is not just a football team: it is an important global community, which starts from Milan. It is an institution for the country and for the world.
