Heavy fine NBA star Harden for violating corona rules: “I was at a party, but not in a strip club” | More Sport

Players are prohibited from going to bars or nightclubs and to gatherings where more than 15 people gather.

‘The Beard’ was supposed to play with the Rockets against Oklahoma City Thunder last night, but that game was postponed after a series of corona virus infections with the Houston team. As a result, there were too few players available at the Rockets to allow the game to proceed according to NBA safety protocols.

Harden admitted he was at a party, but denied that the footage was filmed in a nightclub, as US media claimed. “I attended a party of my girlfriend (not a strip club) to show her my love. She becomes a chef and brings success to her employees,” Harden said on Instagram. “It’s something every day. But no matter how many times people try to put my name in the mud, they won’t succeed. The truth always comes out.”
