Giannis Antetokounmpo to (re) conquer Disney … we lose in the bubble but we find ourselves on the screens

Disney has just announced the production of new films featuring the lives of athletes. On the program, Chris Paul and Giannis Antetokounmpo with regard to the NBA and especially a big opening in terms of visibility for the general public. The beautiful story of Giannis, the business of CP3… Hmmm, that sweet smell of marketing.

While we have just learned the official release date of the second part of Space Jam which will stage the new version of GOAT LeBron James, the NBA shows that not much can resist him now with two of its stars headlining new projects on the Disney + platform. After Bugs Bunny and his gang, it’s Mickey’s team who will tackle Chris Paul and Giannis Antetokounmpo, but make no mistake… No Monstars here or other animations, make way for real biopics on both stars of the League… even if we do not really know more.

The love affair between Giannis and Disney, which started badly in the bubble with a loss in the semifinals of the Eastern Conference, will perhaps take a new turn. The group with the mouse, never stingy in the story of the fulfillment of dreams and of destiny fiercely anchored in each of us, will be served on a plate the inspiring story of the Greek, son of Nigerian immigrants, having grown up with his brothers in Athens without identity papers. A film that will make us drop a little tearful if the Greek Freak gets a ring in the near future with… his franchise.

For his part, Chris Paul is also starring in a film that promises to be different since he will obviously retrace his title with the Clippers… pardon, with the Rockets,… With the Suns? Nothing is less sure. In any case, it will certainly be the occasion to look back on his life as a Hall of Famer in the making and his staggering contract which likely allowed him to sell himself as a headliner for Disney. Never the last to appear when we talk about business, CP3 must have sensed the good luck because this meeting between two forces in full power, which are the NBA and Disney, smacks of profitability.

Popcorn, plaid and herbal tea in anticipation of this new catalog promised by Disney +. It all exudes sorrel and marketing, but if it can inspire a future basketball player, is that priceless?
