Ruud Vormer unexpectedly had to drop out just before the match against STVV with serious stomach problems. He was taken to hospital, where the cause of his problems was found.

Club coach Philippe Clement stated that Vormer’s belly was completely swollen: “He tried to warm up, but it didn’t work at all.”

This should come as no surprise now that the reason for his stomach problems is known. After all, VTM journalist Jarno Bertho says on Twitter that Vormer had problems with the gallbladder. And also that the problem is under control. He is now training separately, but will be ready to play for Lazio on Tuesday.

Dat hoeft niet te verbazen nu de reden van zijn buikproblemen bekend is. VTM-journalist Jarno Bertho laat immers op Twitter weten dat Vormer last had van de galblaas. En ook dat het probleem onder controle is. Hij traint nu wel apart, maar raakt in principe speelklaar voor Lazio dinsdag.
