The Philadelphia Eagles return home after two games on the road. You will face the Seattle Seahawks at Lincoln Financial Field on Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET. Philadelphia lost both games to Seattle 9-17 and 9-17 last season, and they hope to turn the tables this season.
The Eagles didn’t come back too far, but the squad still lost 22-17 to the Cleveland Browns last week. Nobody had an outstanding game offensively for Philadelphia, but they received results from TE Dallas Goedert, TE Richard Rodgers and LB Alex Singleton. QB Carson Wentz received a passerby rating of 123.80.
Meanwhile, Seattle had a solid win against the Arizona Cardinals last Thursday, winning 28-21. Seattle success was spearheaded by the efforts of QB Russell Wilson, who passed two TDs, 197 yards on 28 attempts, and an additional 42 yards on the ground, and RB Carlos Hyde, who did a quick touchdown. Wilson’s performance made up for a slower competition against the Los Angeles Rams two weeks ago.
The Eagles are expected to lose this next by 6.5. Now may not be the best time to face the spread against Philadelphia as they have failed bettors for the last two consecutive games.
The Seattle win brought them 7-3, while the Philadelphia defeat brought them down to 3-6-1. The Seahawks were dynamite on the offensive side of the ball, averaging 31.80 points per game. We shall see if Philadelphia can find a way to disarm them.
