Dennis Schröder wants to help LeBron James and Anthony Davis with his speed at the Los Angeles Lakers

Dennis Schröder wants to win his first title with the Los Angeles Lakers in the coming season. The German now spoke about his first impressions in California and the interaction with LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Montrezl Harrell.

“I try to help my team-mates,” said Schröder after his second training session with the team. “Whatever it takes – whether I slide on the floor, get a rebound, steal the ball or chill on the bench. Whatever it takes.”

Schröder had come to the Lakers a few weeks ago via Trade from the Oklahoma City Thunder for Danny Green, now Schröder should have good chances of a ring in the NBA for the first time. “With LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the field? We can run up and down there,” said Schröder happily, who wants to bring his strengths here too. “The Lakers did well last year, but I think I can help with my speed.”

Schröder may also spend a lot of time with Sixth Man of the Year Montrezl Harrell, who formed a terrific pick’n’roll duo with Lou Williams at the Clippers. “I’ve seen a lot of Clippers games and I’ve spoken to Lou Williams. He was my mentor in Atlanta,” said Schröder, who has also communicated with Harrell.
