The Darts World Cup has never experienced anything like it: Steve Lennon and Devon Petersen deliver an unprecedented error festival in the second round. When the whole thing is over, the winner holds his hand in front of his eyes, ashamed.

The Irishman had already shown great weaknesses on the double fields from the start. Now Petersen was close to madness with seven missed match darts.

The reason that he could still smile was the result of his victory over the irritated Irishman. Lennon had only hit seven of his 46 attempts. Petersen at least eleven of 44. The South African, who is in 29th position, will now face Michael Smith or Jason Lowe in the third round after Christmas.
