Nathan Lyon has been named to Australia’s T20 squad for the last two games of the series against India this week.
Lyon are replacing youngster Cameron Green, who joined the Australian senior squad from Sunday at the Drummoyne Oval for a three-day Red Ball match against an Indian team.
Lyon have not played in an international T20 for over two years, but could be put aside for Sunday’s duel in Sydney.

The spinner on the left arm, Ashton Agar, already suffered a calf injury at the end of the series, with Mitchell Swepson previously being used as cover. Swepson played alongside Ashton Agar in the series opening game on Friday and scored 1/21 of two overs.
Australia’s White Ball roster is already missing key names for the remaining two clashes. David Warner and Pat Cummins were excluded due to injuries and load management, respectively.

He’s just one of seven Test members on the Australian A-Team for the upcoming three-day game. Tim Paine, Joe Burns, Travis Head, Michael Neser, James Pattinson, and Will Pucovski are the other six.
