The mayor Claudia Lopez returned to refer to the subject and launched taunts against the National Government, affirming that it was the executive who allowed the realization of the local league and he assured that only a small part of the fans was the one who took to the streets that day.

“Son the National Government and Dimayor who authorized the Colombian soccer tournament. We mayors do not have the power to prohibit, unfortunately, those decisions, “Lopez initially said.

“However, I want to reiterate something to the public. In a football final 100,000 local fans usually come out; soccer final is often accompanied by deaths, injuries and injuries“, added the Mayor in a press conference.
