Carlos Queiroz stops being the coach of the Colombian National Team – International Football – Sports


Carlos Queiroz’s cycle in the Colombian National Team came to an end. This Tuesday night the Colombian Football Federation confirmed his departure from the selected team, after the poor results against Uruguay and Ecuador in the tie.

The output of Queiroz the position had been cooking for days. It was known that the directors of the FCF were looking for his replacement before announcing his departure.

The coach himself gave statements to the Iranian press in which he confirmed that his “adventure” with Colombia was coming to an end.

The Federation, in its statement, announces that the executive committee will continue to search for the new coach.

Colombia faces in March Brazil and Paraguay in the double elimination round, in which he will have to straighten out the path.
