The initiative involved all the Serie A squares and many other cities. From Milan to Naples: players and celebrities united in producing and delivering food to doctors and nurses

A pizza, a hot meal, a pastry, a drink. Food and comfort products to be taken to hospitals to doctors and nurses. This is the project, taken from the United States, by manager Simone Barazzotto who conceived it with the National Basketball Artists and the Italian Singers National Team with the support of Salumificio Fratelli Beretta.

Sports in the ward

In some hospitals the representatives of the basketball and football teams have promoted the initiative by going to the structures of Milan, Florence, Naples and Rome, about fifteen cities in all. But from the 20th the thing got bigger and the Serie A Basketball League also took to the field with the project “Sunday lunch”. So almost all the teams joined with the support of restaurants, producers, pastry shops, companies. In every city that has an A club, Take Care Your Doc has caught on. In Bologna the actor Stefano Nosei with Aradori, Mancinelli, Sabatini and Fantinelli of Fortitudo prepared the desserts and brought tortelloni and panettone to the hospitals of Bologna. Two RSA wraps and Carpegna ham in Pesaro, Andrea Pecile took the field in Trieste, Pascolo and Lechthaler in Trento. All personally involved and determined to donate. In Reggio Emilia Thomas Kyzlink and Justin Johnson of the Reggiana Basketball spent their time, in Venice the president Federico Casarin entered the scene directly. On Sunday in Milan the singer Simona Molinari and the DJ Pippo Palmieri went to the Sacco with the Olimpia manager Roberto Bottali to deliver 200 meals cooked by the Armani catering to doctors and nurses. The operation does not stop: on January 3 the hospital in Brescia will also be “served”. On the 4th, exceptionally, there will be space for the A-2 with Givova partner of the initiative in Scafati. More than 1600 meals have been delivered so far.
