Away from the team, Kevin Porter Jr. follows a reintegration plan

The Cavaliers sophomore Kevin Porter Jr. did not make the trip with the Cavaliers to New York for the last two preseason games, the first of which was played last night. This is the consequence of a reintegration plan put in place by the franchise following the player’s extrasport concerns during the offseason.

“We have a plan in place and we are sticking to it. We make sure everything is respected before moving forward with him. ” Bickerstaff

The Cavaliers have communicated very little about their full back, author of a very promising rookie season, he who already had a very bad reputation dating from college, and who had dropped him during the draft.

He will not play this Friday against the Knicks either, and by the start of the season he will not have played any game. It is therefore difficult to see him take part in the match against the Hornets on December 23.

“It’s a complicated situation. If you miss the entire training camp, it’s hard to bounce back. But again we stick to our plan. We will always do what’s best for our players in terms of health by making sure they’re ready to play an NBA game before we put them in the trenches. ” Bickerstaff

Note that JB Bickerstaff exchanges very regularly with his player and the staff sends him videos to work.
