Rafael Nadal’s interview with Celibrity Magazine is interesting because the Spaniard is interviewed in a less traditional setting than that of sports media.
Obviously, he had to explain the idea of success and the path taken to achieve it.
There again, with sincerity, Rafa explains that in his “head” nothing was really programmed: “It would be very arrogant of me to say that I achieve what I expected at the age of 16. At that age, I just wanted to be a professional tennis player and win a tournament one day. My dream was to win Wimbledon, and I managed to do it for the first time in 2008. A lot has gone well, in terms of results, since that first interview I gave you at age 16 years old. The reality is that that I am very grateful for life because I am spoiled. I never expected to achieve even half of what I did. “
