Paul Annacone, Roger Federer’s coach in the early 2010s, recently appeared on the “Tennis with an Accent” podcast. He recounted his first moments spent with the Swiss. He underlines the importance of ‘Mirka’ Federer.
“When I had dinner with Roger for the first time to talk about tennis, thank goodness Mirka was there because no one knows her game better than she does. She played, so she understands and so we spend a few nights talking about tennis, and during the day we practice and I spent a lot of time with Severin (Luthi) trying to learn the ins and outs of the whole team ”, remembered the American coach.
