Arsenal boss Arteta reveals what he learned from Mourinho in Spurs doc

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has revealed the management tips he received from Jose Mourinho after watching the documentary All or Nothing Tottenham Hotspur.

The Amazon Show followed Mourinho and Spurs through the 2019-20 season.

And Arteta says the documentary highlighted why Mourinho was so successful throughout his career.

He told that Daily mail: “Very interesting. It’s great to see the insides of other football clubs, other ideas, other coaches and other organizations.

“I like to see that – I do that with other sports too, because there are a lot of things to take with you and also with a manager like Mourinho who has worked in many different countries, he was like that in all of them successful There is a why for that.

“There are some key moments in this documentary where you can choose some pertinent things as to why it makes the success it does.”

Now under pressure at Arsenal after a good start at the top, Arteta explained, referring to Mourinho, that managers react to the difficult moments that really illustrate their quality.

“I like two things. First of all, the head coach or manager, he has to create a certain level of engagement with the players, the club and the fans and a certain level of conviction that his ideas have a huge impact on him. If you don’t get that, you won’t last long, ”Arteta added.

“Mourinho has something very special, whatever he wants to include in the football club, he manages and believes that the players do what he wants to do. And if you don’t, you don’t belong.
