After activities at the Brazilian national team, Vinicius Junior returned to Real Madrid to prepare for matches with his club. He returned after traveling 20 thousand kilometers without playing for a minute.
Vinicius Junior is one of the players that coach Tite has called to the Brazil national team to face matches in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela and Uruguay.
Brazil went through these matches in a win and became the only team that still won 100 percent to occupy the top position in the CONMEBOL zone World Cup qualifying standings.
However, Vinicius Junior’s participation in the Selecao squad practically only entered the team, aka not playing in the matches that Brazil played. In fact, take note Brand, he had already traveled a total of 20,700 kilometers!
It was further stated that this amount was the distance traveled by Vinicius Junior with the Brazilian national team starting from Madrid to Rio de Janeiro, then from Rio to Sao Paulo and also back again. Then from Rio to Montevideo, until finally from Montevideo to Madrid.
After a long journey without playing with the Brazilian national team, Vinicius Junior will now return to join his team-mates at Real Madrid for two matches in the span of a few days.
This weekend Real Madrid will be hosted by Villarreal in the LaLiga event. El Real needed a win to rise from the bad results in the previous Jornada, when they bowed 1-4 at Valencia headquarters.
A few days later in the middle of the week, Real Madrid will visit Inter Milan’s headquarters in the Champions League. On the previous matchday, El Real won 3-2 against the Nerazzurri.
Vinicius Junior is believed to be one of the players Real Madrid rely on in these matches, especially after Eden Hazard tested positive for COVID-19.
