Roger Federer had a particularly moving tour of South America last year. In each country, an incredible crowd awaited him. The climax took place in Mexico City on November 24 when the world record for spectators was broken.
The Swiss remembers it well. That’s why he made a little post on his Instagram account, adding a few words: “A year ago today, I had one of the most fascinating experiences of my career. Moments like these continue to inspire me and push my limits. Long live Mexico ”.
The only “problem” with this speech is that Roger does not say a word about Zverev without whom this tour would not have been possible since he participated in all the stopovers.
Some bad tongues will say that “talking” about Zverev right now is not really political correct. Others, will logically defend their idol by explaining that Roger does not want to add “fuel to the fire”. They are the ones who are probably right.
