This Tuesday at 8 o’clock the new parquet of the Regatas club basketball court will be inaugurated, in a formal ceremony with authorities of the provincial government, which will be headed by Governor Jorge Capitanich. In this regard, Gabriel Lemos, president of Lotería Chaqueña, spoke with CITY TV and I’m talking about 1,700 m2 of parquet, and a work that also includes repairs on the roof “of the great microstadium that the Regatas de Resistencia club has and its auxiliary court, as well as the painting of the tribune, a work that exceeds 10 million of pesos in investment, executed through the Ministry of Infrastructure as part of the investment plan that Governor Capitanich has for these four years in sports matters ”.

He recalled that the sports infrastructure plan was launched as soon as the government management started, “for more than 4 billion pesos for the four years of management, which includes an investment that will exceed 2.5 billion pesos in sports infrastructure.”

He added to this State policy what is also being worked on between the Nation and the Sports Institute, through the Clubs en Obras program; sponsorship projects for the support, competition and infrastructure for different sports institutions in the province. “It is a very ambitious plan that was delayed at the beginning due to this pandemic, but the objective is going to be met and the goal is the same as at the beginning of the administration.”

In a timely manner, on the inauguration of this Tuesday, Gabriel Lemos announced that it is a work already completed, with 1700 m2 of parquet, “something little seen in the province and in a sports institution.”

“Regattas is one of the first category, as well as many others in Resistencia. The investment is not only here, with the governor we were at the time touring the Villa San Martín park, a sports playground made in the CUNNE, other works in the Villa Centenario club, also in the José María Paz; the Regional with the stands and changing rooms. Very important sports infrastructure works that show that Capitanich’s commitment to sports remains the same as always and now with a little more investment, ”added the Lottery president.
