Morbidelli also revealed what Rossi told him when he lost his father to suicide.
“When my father died, it was the most shocking moment in my life. Valentino tucked me in a room and said If you need me, I’m right here, “he said.
“He taught me, helped me and inspired me. I answered him by looking forward, wearing my gloves and saying to keep working, keep going,” he explained.
Morbidelli thinks that The Doctor’s joining the Petronas Yamaha SRT team will bring him more success.
