This is said Valentino Rossi when Franco Morbidelli lost his father

GridOto.com – Some time ago, there were rumors that the union of Valentino Rossi and Franco Morbidelli in the Petronas team could be a disaster for MotoGP 2021.

Uniquely, this was revealed by Ramon Forcada, Morbidelli’s chief mechanic in the Petronas team.

The disaster in question is that Rossi and Morbidelli could deliberately help each other on the track, and that could have been a disaster for Forcada.

But Morbidelli himself denied that collaboration with the teacher would be a bad thing.

“For me Rossi is like my uncle, he is the person I respect the most,” Morbidelli said as quoted by GridOto.com from GPOne.com.

Morbidelli also revealed what Rossi told him when he lost his father to suicide.

“When my father died, it was the most shocking moment in my life. Valentino tucked me in a room and said If you need me, I’m right here, “he said.

“He taught me, helped me and inspired me. I answered him by looking forward, wearing my gloves and saying to keep working, keep going,” he explained.

Morbidelli thinks that The Doctor’s joining the Petronas Yamaha SRT team will bring him more success.
