The city of Nashville, Tennessee, is added to the list of serious candidates to host the Toronto Raptors next season, if they cannot play their games in Queen City in 2020-21.

Thanks to sources familiar with the matter, sports site The Athletic reported that the Toronto-based organization visited the Nashville facilities earlier this week. The Bridgestone Arena, which is the Predators’ regular home in the National Hockey League, would be the most likely location.
Also according to sports media, the cities of Kansas City and Tampa are on the Raptors’ roster if the team were to find a new home due to the extended border closure between Canada and the United States.
Buffalo, Louisville and Newark have also expressed their interest in accommodating Torontonians.
Earlier this week, the NBA and its players’ association agreed to December 22 as the date of resumption of activity. Training camps will start on 1is December and the teams will play 72 regular season games.
