The king’s Lausanne has been quarantined by Covid-19

The Swiss top league (NLA) team “Lausanne”, represented by Latvian striker Ronald Ķēniņš, has gone into quarantine caused by Covid-19 until November 21, according to the club’s website.

The medical authorities of the canton of Vo have quarantined the entire team of the Lausanne Hockey Club until and including November 21, as two players and one club employee have received positive Covid-19 test results in recent days.

Consequently, the games will have to be postponed on November 13 against goalkeeper Ivars Punnenovs and forwards Rihards Melnalkšnis and Toms Andersons Langnava “Tigers”, on November 17 against “Bern” and on November 21 away against “Davos”. The dates of the transferred games will be announced later, the club reports.

Lausanne hockey players have scored 22 points in ten games, giving them first place in the tournament table.

The king has accumulated eight (2 + 6) performance points in ten games.

Last season, the NLA tournament ended after a regular championship, so for the second time in history and for the first time since 1940, the Swiss champion in hockey was not crowned.
