The first trans tennis player in the world is Argentine and her name is Mía Fedra

Interviewed by the Public Television newscast, she told her story of bullying at school, overcoming and how sport gave her “shelter”, despite the discrimination she suffered, even now.

“All this cliché of the trans girl who has suffered, that they beat her, of the talks in the house, is a reality but we would also have to show something else because not because you are trans you always have to go like hell. Sport saved my life ”, he remarks.

For this reason, Fedra recommended “to all the girls to get a little closer to sport” or to contact her through social networks. “I am going to help all of them to come to play tennis, do some sport and others need to say that my grain of sand is for everyone, for everyone and everyone.”
