The editorial’s blog ‘> Mannarino, between 15.5 and 18.5 tension …

Adrian Mannarino made Alexander Zverev tremble last night. The Habs who are introverted have offered their game of variations. This game may explain why the Habs are part of a small caste of players who stretch their racquets extremely low.

We met the Frenchman in April 2018 in Genoa, during the Davis Cup quarter-final against Italy. He gave us the real numbers because there were a lot of rumors going around about it. We therefore offer you an excerpt from this river interview that appeared in the issue of We Love Tennis Magazine N ° 64.

A lot is being said about the tension you use, can you set the truth right?
It’s simple, I tend around 17-18, but I also adapt because there are stringers who tend very strong. In general, depending on the conditions, I am between 15.5 and 18.5 max.

These are relatively low voltages …
True, but it’s a trend on the circuit. Jack Sock, for example, is 12 kg, [Mikhail] Kukushkin at 11. Before, the average was around 24-25, this is not really the case anymore.

Talk about adjusting your blood pressure, can you really feel the slightest difference?
In fact, I feel like I’m losing strength from year to year. If my blood pressure is 16.5 and the racquet is handed to me at 17, I will feel like I will not pass the net (laughs). At half a kilo, I can feel huge differences. Some players don’t ask themselves a lot of questions and manage to change racquets every time they change balls, which is not my case.
