Círculo Gijón debuted at the Palacio de los Deportes and did so with a hard-fought victory against Marbella that did not achieve the level expected of its staff. The people of Gijón played a very good first half in which Alo Marín’s success stood out and he went to rest with a 13-point advantage, 35-22, although he had a difference in his favor of 15.
However, in the third quarter he lost all the income he had achieved as he was not so successful in attack and Marbella improved notably in their performance. With only two points of difference, 47-45, the Circle faced the last quarter that was very even, but that had an undoubted protagonist, Arturo Seara, who achieved in the last 10 minutes no less than 19 points of the 27 of his team, keys to the final victory.
The Circle cannot fully celebrate the victory because Ángel Moro has been injured again, and things are not looking good.
