The Beskydy Sherpa carried a record 432 beers on his back to the statue of Radegast

The load consisting of 432 half-liter cans of beer in 18 cartons loaded on a hand-made wooden structure was carried by Pácha for a total of three hours and five minutes. He covered a distance of 1,250 meters with an elevation gain of 90 meters.

The 52-year-old sherpa was honestly preparing for a successful attempt. “The hardest part was that I always broke up somehow, then it worked. It wasn’t easy, so I’m very happy that I came to the statue of Radegast, “said the sherpa-record holder at the finish, who dedicated the performance to the brewery, which rewards Pách with beer of the same weight for free.

“Going to the statue of Radegast with such a load of beer on your back is something that only the greatest warrior can handle. An extraordinary deed deserves an extraordinary reward, “said Marek Grabovský, manager of the Radegast brewery.
