Austria’s women champions SKN St. Pölten are in the main competition of the Champions League and can compete with the best 31 teams in Europe. The “Wolves” prevailed on Thursday evening in the second qualifying round at home against CSKA Moscow 1-0 (0-0). Jasmin Eder scored the gold goal from a penalty kick (60th).
Europe’s elite teams are now waiting in the two-legged round in December in the sixteenth-finals. The draw will take place on Tuesday. In the previous year, the St. Pölten women had spared the qualification.
