The scandal involving Ryan Giggs, Manchester United legend and current Wales coach, remains unresolved, while he remains removed from his post and awaiting a judicial investigation that has his career in suspense.
Giggs was arrested a couple of weeks ago at his own residence, after his now ex-girlfriend, Kate Greville, called the police and reported that he was the victim of an assault by his ex-partner. According to reports in the British press, the woman was treated by paramedics who found no serious injuries to refer her to hospital.
Later it would be known that the reason for the fight was the discovery, on her part, of compromising messages between Giggs and at least two women, one of whom would have seen the entire scene by video call.
The truth is that there were no images of her until this weekend, when The Sun newspaper captured her taking a walk with her dog, in a remote park, alone and in sportswear. What drew attention is that on his face there are at least two marks of possible blows: an inflammation near the right eye and, even more evident, a bruise over the mouth, on the right side.
The media says that she “has gone through hell in life” since the dispute, that before they had other incidents but this time it is definitive, because she left the house she shared with him in the exclusive sector of Worsley, in Manchester, with all his suitcases.
Meanwhile Giggs was temporarily removed from his post while the investigation yields a final result, risking final dismissal by the Welsh Federation if his guilt is confirmed.
He should have led Wales against Ireland this weekend but has appeared in a bad face, out for a walk with a group of friends, taking a walk in the field.
