Ronaldo Two goals, Bianconeri Win 4-1

Juventus pick the three points at home to Spezia on the birthday. The Old Lady came home with a 4-1 win and Cristiano Ronaldo contributed two goals.

Juventus travel to Spezia’s headquarters at the Orogel Stadium-Dino Manuzzi in the Italian League continued, Sunday (1/11/2020) evening WIB. This match takes place as Juventus celebrate the club’s 123rd birthday.

The Bianconeri took the lead in the 14th minute through Alvaro Morata. Spezia managed to force a 1-1 draw in the first half through Tommaso Pobega’s goal.

Juventus ran fast in the second half. Ronaldo as a substitute player contributed a goal after only three minutes on the field. Adrien Rabiot only needed five minutes to get his name on the scoreboard after coming on as a substitute.

Ronaldo led Juventus to win 4-1 through a goal from the penalty spot. He scored two goals in this match after undergoing a two-week quarantine due to COVID-19.

The course of the match

Juventus immediately threatened the Spezia defense when the game had only been running for five minutes. Morata gets space to open a shot in the penalty box, but the ball is not yet towards the goal.

Spezia did not play very well in front of Juventus. The home team was also quite aggressive in launching a long ball late attack.

The Bianconeri’s second hit the goal in the 14th minute. Morata slotted the ball into Spezia’s goal after Weston McKennie cleverly cleared the ball. Morata opened fire in a free position. 1-0 Juventus take the lead.

Three minutes later, Federico Chiesa got a golden opportunity. He failed to score a goal after facing the opposing goalkeeper.

In the 23rd minute, Morata made a solo run, dribbling from the middle of the field to the Spezia penalty box and scoring. However, this goal was disallowed because Morata was already in an offside position when he got the ball in the middle of the field.

Spezia then equalized to 1-1 in the 32nd minute. Paolo Bartolomei gave Tommaso Pobega a short pass in the middle of the penalty box. The loan player from AC Milan immediately greeted him with a horizontal kick that lodged in Gianluigi Buffon’s goal.

Juve got a chance ahead of falling through McKennie. Receiving a ball from Morata, the American player fired a shot which could still be blocked. The first half finished with a score of 1-1.

Juventus appeared crazy in the second half, especially when Ronaldo entered in the 56th minute to replace Paulo Dybala. The 35-year-old striker immediately scored three minutes later after receiving Morata’s breakthrough pass.

Ronaldo got past goalkeeper Ivan Provedel before finally opening a shot. This goal also marked Ronaldo’s return after two weeks of quarantine due to being positive for the Corona virus.

Spezia tried to increase the pressure after trailing 1-2. However, Spezia’s efforts to equalize the score in the 64th minute ran aground because Kevin Agudelo’s goal was ruled out for offside.

Juventus increased the lead in the 68th minute. Rabiot managed to escape from the offside position when he received a gastric bait from Chiesa. The French midfielder then dribbled into the penalty box to outwit the defender and goalkeeper before scoring.

Spezia was getting battered in the 77th minute. They were rewarded a penalty after Paolo Bartolomei fouled Chiesa. Ronaldo, who advanced as the executor, led Juventus to win 4-1.
