Referee Stéphane Moulin has passed away

Two months after the death of Sébastien Desiage, French arbitration is again in mourning. The Union of Elite Arbitrators (SAFE) has just announced the death of Stéphane Moulin at the age of 57.

This former international referee has refereed more than 300 matches at the highest level in Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and had notably refereed the Champions trophy in 2000. Since 2012, he had joined the refereeing steering committee within the French Federation of football.
