Professional tennis returned to Argentina

After the postponement of all the competitions of the national circuits of the Argentine Tennis Association (AAT) due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the professional tournaments of women and men returned, in all cases under the sanitary recommendations contemplated.

They compete in stage 4 of the Doing Tennis circuit at the San Lorenzo de Almagro Athletic Club, with prizes of 50 thousand pesos and a main draw of 32 players.

Simultaneously, the men compete in stage 5 of the Pro Tour circuit at the facilities of the Club Sirio Libanés, with a branch in Parque Sarmiento and with a team of more than 90 players and the same prize money as the women’s tournament.

As reported, the AAT Professionals Department continues to work to add dates to the calendar, always with the premise of increasing the possibilities of competition (for money and points for the national ranking) among the tennis players of our country.
