Matty Johns had the last, if not the last, laugh at son Cooper’s expense after getting him back with a hilarious prank on Storm Skipper Cameron Smith’s autobiography.
Johns and his son and Storm Halfback Cooper have competed in a spirited string tennis game this season, with some brutal results.
Cooper made his first grade debut for the Storm this season, pranking his legendary NRL father on Sydney’s Kyle and Jackie O show on KIIS FM.

21-year-old Cooper resembles former Knights star Kurt Gidley and took full advantage of this with his prank on his father.
Cooper claimed he was being harassed online for being Kurt’s son and asked Matty to do a DNA test to help solve the problem.
“If you watch out for fools on social media, you’re a wood duck yourself,” Johns replied to his son.
Kyle and Jackie O then stepped in and revealed the prank, much to the horror of a clearly unsettled John’s senior.

Matty picked the perfect time, however, to strike back at Cooper with his son’s Storm skipper, Cameron Smith.
On his 1170 SEN show Morning Glory, Matty revealed he stole his son’s phone and sent an interesting text to his teammates and other high profile Storm characters.
The lyrics were in response to Cameron Smith’s new autobiography – The Storm Within – and shot at the Storm legend.

“What about our fearless leader’s self-worshiping memories? I never felt the need to even mention my name, did I? Enjoy the titans, bald man, ”was the text on Cooper’s phone.
It has been broadcast to Cameron Munster, Brandon Smith, Billy Slater, Josh Addo-Carr, Cameron Smith, and Craig Bellamy, among others.
Addo-Carr was one of the first to reply and send back, “What, did he sign with you?”
Hopefully the 21 year old explained himself to his captain and coach before they got a chance to read it.
