In this sense, the magazine ‘France Football’ elected the league selection, in addition to publicizing the three best players. However, Neymar was left out of the podium.
According to the renowned magazine, the top three French League athletes were Mbappé, Di María and Eduardo Camavinga, 17, a Rennes player, who are interested in Real Madrid. In the selection of the competition, the Brazilian star appears next to Thiago Silva and three other athletes from the champion team: Marco Verratti, Di María and Mbappé.
It is worth mentioning that the Professional Football League of France interrupted the competition in the middle of March because of the coronavirus outbreak and awaited the advances of the disease in the world. However, it was seen that it was not feasible to continue the 2019/2020 season and the fateful announcement of the end of the competition happened.
With the victory, PSG reached the seventh title in the last eight editions of Ligue 1 (the club has nine in its history), after being sold to billionaire Nasser Al-Kelaiffi. The team is on a winning streak to match Santi-Éttiene, the biggest champion in French Championship history with 10 titles, even without winning since 1981.
