DeMarcus Cousins especially hopes to be able to stay healthy for the next season he will spend in Houston.
According to what reported ESPNOn Monday, the 30-year-old center struck a one-season deal with the Rockets.
Cousins has not been spared from injuries in recent years. He tore his anterior cruciate ligament in one knee in August 2019, which caused him to miss the entire season while he was playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Cousins last played for the Golden State Warriors in 2019, now averaging 16.3 and 8.2 rebounds in 30 games.
The previous season with the New Orleans Pelicans, he had played 48 games.
