Morbidelli flicked Marquez the Yamaha racer satire: Okezone Sports

VALENCIA – The Petronas Yamaha SRT Team racer, Franco Morbidelli, flicked back Marc Marquez who teased the Yamaha riders. According to him, Marquez is just a fan who can only stay at home so he continues to comment on the big things that happen in MotoGP.

Marquez is known to have scoffed at Yamaha for avoiding severe punishment from the International Motorcycle Racing Federation (FIM). FIM is known to only give Yamaha points reduction in the construction team by 50 points.

This penalty was given because Yamaha was caught violating the 2020 Spanish MotoGP. Yamaha was accused of violating the rules of homologation with the machines used in the race at the Jerez Circuit, Spain, in MotoGP 2020.

Interestingly, the points of four Yamaha riders, namely Valentino Rossi, Maverick Vinales, Fabio Quartararo, and Franco Morbidelli were not reduced at all. This then became the spotlight of Marquez.

The Repsol Honda Team rider wondered why Rossi and his friends survived the point deduction when all the Yamaha team’s points were deducted. According to Marquez, this is somewhat unfair.

He also insinuated Rossi cs and of course FIM by saying that it seems that changes in the motorbike are not profitable from the rider’s side. Finding this condition, Morbidelli gave his response.

Morbidelli admitted that he actually did not know for sure Marquez’s insinuation, which was expressed through a tweet on his personal Twitter account. Because, Marquez used Spanish when he conveyed this satire.

However, Morbidelli turned out to be reluctant to heed any further comments from Marquez. For him, Marquez did this because he was at home too long and could not participate in MotoGP. This itself is known to have happened because Marquez was suffering from an injury to his right arm.

“To be honest, I don’t understand the tweet, let alone what it means because I don’t understand Spanish. I want to hear the interpretation, ”said Morbidelli, as quoted by GP One, Saturday (7/11/2020).

“It was just a comment from a fan who was at home and wanted to comment on something great that has happened in the last few days,” he said.
