Morata, Koke and Marcos Llorente, news on Luis Enrique’s list

The returns of striker Álvaro Morata (Juventus) and midfielder Koke Resurrección (Atlético), and especially the debut of also rojiblanco Marcos Llorente, are the three great novelties in the continuation list that the national coach, Luis Enrique Martínez, has offered this Friday , for this autumn window of November in which Spain plays the pass to the final phase of the League of Nations. The Asturian has announced the call with a nod to cycling, and more specifically to the Vuelta a España, since it was showing those chosen by positions and in badges, as when today veterans were small and played in the parks.

Spain will visit the Netherlands on November 11 in a good preparation test for the following official duels in which La Roja must seal their qualification for the ‘playoffs’ for the title of the second edition of the League of Nations, tournament that UEFA sponsored to reduce to a minimum the friendly low relief and make caya and whose first title was won by Portugal, with Cristiano Ronaldo at the helm. On the 14th, La Roja faces Switzerland at home and on paper the first place will be played three days later against the Germany of the much discussed Joaquim Löw in La Cartuja in Seville.

Despite the surprising and by all accounts undeserved defeat suffered last month in Kiev against Ukraine, where Luis Enrique’s team was weighed down by his lack of goal and fell 1-0. Spain leads the group with seven points from four games, one point more than Germans and Ukrainians and five more than the Helvetians. Therefore, he depends on himself to fulfill the first objective in the second stage of Luis Enrique. The great challenge, second in time, will be to recover the ground lost in recent years in the next European Championship from the supposed twelve venues, including Bilbao, if the pandemic does not prevent it again.
