The group tournaments in Tartu and Vilnius revealed the four best teams that will compete in the final tournament in the newly built Rezekne Ice Hall in mid-December. The final round was reached by the two best teams in each group.

The Latvian Hockey Federation (LHF) reports that during the tournament, epidemiological requirements were strictly observed and the teams adhered to the developed Covid 19 protocol – a separate floor in the hotel and restaurant, separate team areas in the arena, wearing masks and other requirements to ensure safe running of the tournament.

The tournament “Final Four” will take place from December 18 to 20 in the new ice hall of Rēzekne. The top four first-round teams will play in a one-round tournament. The champion of the Baltic Hockey League will be determined by the results of the “Final Four” tournament.

The winner of this season’s Baltic Hockey League will receive a champion’s cup and medals. After the “Final Four” tournament, the best goalkeeper, defender, striker and the most valuable player of the Baltic Hockey League will be determined.

In the previous three seasons, Latvia, Lithuania and the Estonian Hockey Federation have jointly organized the Baltic Challenge Cup stages. The winners of all tournaments were selected by the Latvian club team.
