Milos Raonic climbs the standings

The Canadian Milos Raonic, semi-finalist last week at the Paris-Bercy Masters, climbed three levels to occupy the 14e rank in the ATP ranking released on Monday.

The one who bowed to Russian Daniil Medvedev on Saturday in France was in 30e position when it resumed operations in August. This is the 29-year-old’s best ranking since March 2019.

Quebecer Félix Auger-Aliassime, who triumphed in doubles in the Paris competition with Pole Hubert Hurkacz, made a good 174 places to grab the 77e duplicate place. In singles he is 21e.

Denis Shapovalov remains top ranked Canadian as he remains in 12e position. Canadian Vasek Pospisil is 74e, down one place.

In the WTA, Eugenie Bouchard lost one position, falling to 141e rank. Bianca Andreescu is still seventh. No change can be reported from Leylah Annie Fernandez, 88e world racket.
