Hertha Berlin, whose last success dates back to September 19, returned to victory during the 7th day of the German championship on Saturday in Augsburg (0-3). Dodi Lukebakio, who scored the second goal (52nd, 0-2), was replaced late in the game (88th) and Dedryck Boyata, the captain, also (90th + 2).
Matheus Cunha opened the scoring for the Berliners from the penalty spot (44th, 0-1) and Lukebakio took advantage of a bad interception by defender Jeffrey Gouweleeuw to double the mark (52nd, 0-2).
Krzysztof Piatek completed the job (82nd, 3-0). Hertha Berlin, who remained on four defeats and a division, climbs to 12th position (7 points) and Augsburg misses the opportunity to integrate the Europe zone (10 points, 9th).
A sharing for Raman and Schalke 04
Schalke, who went 2-2 in Mainz, has yet to win in the league. The visited transformed two penalties by Daniel Brosinski (6th, 1-0) and Jean-Philippe Mateta (45th + 2, 2-1).
Meanwhile, Mark Uth (36th, 1-1) had equalized for the Königsblauen.
Among the visitors, Benito Raman rose to the game (71st) but the equalizer came on an autogoal from defender Jerry St. Juste (82nd, 2-2). The two teams thus remain stuck at the bottom of the standings: Schalke (3 points) is 17th and Mainz (1 point) 18th and last.
While they led 2-0, Orel Mangala and Stuttgart shared with Frankfurt (2-2). In the standings, the two teams have ten points but Stuttgart is 7th and Frankfurt 10th.
