Thanks to a draw against Chelsea, Tottenham has lifted themselves to a level with Liverpool in the Premier League standings. For the rest, there was nothing to remember of a London topper who could never live up to his name.

Chelsea had a good reason for a party beforehand. The London derby against Tottenham was the 1,000th game since Roman Abramovich has owned the club. You just have to be with at least two to throw a party and Mourinho did not feel like that against his ex-team.

Tottenham would remain very tightly organized throughout the game and Chelsea were unable to dismantle that wall. The home team lacked pace and precision.

In the first half, the best chance was even for Tottenham, but Bergwijn shot over with a quick counterattack. Werner did score well for Chelsea, but was called off.

The second half did not improve. Tottenham did nothing at all. Ziyech; Mount and substitute Giroud still had chances for Chelsea, but the first kicked over and the second and third could not beat Lloris.
