“It’s very, very dangerous for the players,” scolded Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp

After a game with a late goal and a possible thigh injury to player James Milner, Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp was clearly in a bad mood. He criticized the television network and a decision by the Sheffield United coach.
Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp was served. The late goal to make it 1-1 at Brighton & Hove Albion and the suspicion of a thigh injury at James Milner had spoiled his mood.
The 53-year-old had also identified one culprit: the TV stations who, when the game was scheduled for Saturday lunchtime, hadn’t taken into account that the English football champions Liverpool FC had only played in the Champions League on Wednesday.
“This is very, very dangerous for the players,” Klopp grumbled after the final whistle on the microphone of BT Sport. “You have scheduled us at 12.30 p.m.!”
BT reporter Des Kelly did not accept that. “We are just the broadcasters and we work according to Premier League rules. The Premier League makes the rules, ”he clarified. “If you come here and hit the transmitter, it won’t do anything.”
Klopp also attacked Chris Wilder. The coach of bottom of the table Sheffield United had voted against five change options during a game – because of an alleged competitive advantage for the top clubs.
“Chris Wilder said I’m selfish. I think everything he said is selfish, ”complained Klopp and emphasized that as a coach of FSV Mainz he played against relegation himself. “It was about staying in the league, but Sheffield United only has one point with three substitutions.”
