Match winner Raphinha praised by Phillips

Kalvin Phillips was delighted with team-mate Raphinha after the Brazilian’s first goal for the Whites sealed the victory over Everton.

Souness also impressed with Brazilians

The praise kept coming for Raphinha, and Graeme Souness praised them too Brazilian after his match prize contribution for Leeds United versus Everton.

“He’s a flair game but he’s taking off his socks,” Liverpool legend Souness told Sky Sports.

“I think there is a goal in him. There’s a lot to like about him.

“He’s one of those players because he walks with the ball, aside from his ability, he works really hard when they don’t have the ball.

“We talk about players who come to our football, players like him – Flair players – sometimes they need a little time to get used to our game, but he seems to get it right away.”

According to The sun, Lopetegui is a favorite of Leeds owner Andrea Radizanni, who restored his name with a successful stay in Seville.

He was sacked as coach of the Spanish national team and then Real Madrid before moving to Sevilla, where he took fourth in La Liga and sixth Europa League title.

Lopetegui almost took command of Wolves in 2016 before taking the job in Spain.
