MADRID – Inter Milan player, Lautaro Martinez, commented after his team defeated Real Madrid this morning. Nerazurri – Inter’s nickname – lost 2-3 when he visited Alfredo Di Stefano, in the third matchday of Group B of the 2020-2021 Champions League.
Lautaro admitted that he was very disappointed with the results his team achieved in this match. Because according to him Inter had performed optimally and succeeded in creating several opportunities against Madrid who were guarded by Thibaut Courtois.
The Argentine attacker even believes that his team could have won three points if they could take the opportunity they had.
“It’s a shame because we did everything we could to win the match. They were never comfortable because we pressed them well,” Martinez said as quoted from the official UEFA website, Wednesday (4/11/2020).

“We are disappointed because we created enough chances to win the match. We played well and the results were not what we expected,” he continued.
However, Lautaro also did not want his team to be too late in the disappointment of this negative result. He also appealed to Inter to get up and focus on the next match.
