King Nadal failed in the ranking of the rich. Against the most wealthy Spaniard, he has only minor ones

Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal celebrated his thousandth anniversary at the ATP circuit in Paris.

In tennis, he won, except for the Champions Tournament, everything he could. So far, he has collected 20 grand slam titles and a total of 86 tournament victories at the ATP circuit. He earned over 123 million dollars, ie almost three billion crowns, on prize money alone.

However, this is only a part of the income, to which must be added the profits from lucrative sponsorship agreements with companies such as Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Kia or Movistar.

Forbes now estimates the value of its assets at 160 million euros, ie about 4.3 billion crowns. This is not enough for the top 100 rich in Spain, but it is enough to be the absolute top in the property ranking in the Balearic Islands, where a native of Mallorca resides.

At the time of the corona crisis, it defeats wealthy hoteliers in terms of property value, whose tourist resorts are losing value in times of quarantine.

But just for comparison, even the estimated value of the property of former F1 world champion Fernando Alonso is higher than that of Nadal, Forbes states the amount of 170 million euros. But all this is basically only small compared to Foorbes’ number one in this ranking – the dresser Amancio Ortega, whose wealth corresponds to 57 billion euros. (over 1.5 trillion crowns).

Forbes estimated the assets of the entire Nadal family at 275 million euros, almost 7.5 billion crowns.

Although Nadal is definitely not one of the eccentrically spending sports stars, he can also indulge in wonderful luxury. For his money, he bought, for example, a yacht, limousines or several homesteads, including a house in the Dominican Republic.

At the same time, however, he also invests in a charity or in his training center in Mallorca, where he wants to educate other future stars.
