Jrue Holiday has not requested his transfer

Jrue Holiday, who could soon leave the discipline of the New Orleans Pelicans, would not have requested his departure from the franchise led by David Griffin, reports the media The Athletic.

The rumors of leaving by means of a transfer have increased in the last hours, since several franchises contending for the title have claimed his services, such as the Milwaukee Bucks, Denver Nuggets or Miami Heat, which could even include his young shooter Tyler Herro.

“He is still open to the idea of making his young staff work,” acknowledged journalist William Guillory. “He has also recognized how special the Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram couple could be, and that being part of that promotion intrigues him,” he added.

The future of NOLA will be commanded by the new Staff coach Van Gundy and will have at his command the aforementioned Williamson, Ingram and possibly Holiday; in addition to Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, JJ Redick or Jaxson Hayes.

The Pelicans had a 30-43 record last season, finishing 13th in the Western Conference. Likewise, for the next Draft 2020 they will have elections number 13, 39 and 60.
