Former Athletic player Javi Martínez has opened the doors of his home in his native Ayegi to the YouTuber Ibon Zugasti cyclist, who came to record one of his videos after riding a bike route with the footballer. The video has gone viral on the networks because of the impressiveness of the mansion, with a basketball field, where it is appreciated a mural with Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and the Athletic crest, soccer field, a recreation area with table football, paddle tennis court, a large gym and an impressive field.
«When I traveled with Athletic I drew in a notebook how I wanted this house. I was 18 years old. I made a model of the architect with a cardboard», Explains Martínez in the video. Work continues on the interior to complete the house in its entirety. «I spent all my childhood in Ayegui, and my parents, brothers and many of my friends live there, so whenever I can, I stop by to see them. It is a town that has given me everything, it is my home »
