Grabher has to give up in Linz because of an ankle injury

Linz – For Julia Grabher, the hope of a place in the round of 16 of the tennis WTA tournament in Linz ended early on Tuesday. The 24-year-old from Vorarlberg had to give up in the first round duel of the Upper Austria Ladies with the Romanian Sorana Cirstea in a lead of 3: 2 due to an ankle injury. With Barbara Haas, only one ÖTV player is represented in the competition, she will meet the number five seeded Russian Veronika Kudermetowa on Wednesday.
