Girona rider Albert Arenas, the reigning Moto3 world champion, was able to ride his Moto2 mount, the Aspar Team Speed Up, with which he rode during a test at the Portuguese circuit of Portimao. Arenas completed a total of 65 laps, setting a best time of 1: 43.705, almost five seconds better than his teammate, Sergio García Dols.
