FC Twente travels with an almost fit selection to ADO The Hague on Saturday. Only Nathangelo Markelo, Alexander Jeremejeff and Dario Dumic are missing from the Tukkers, but trainer Ron Jans has good news.
“The rehabilitation of Dumic and Markelo, they are not yet back, but is going very well”, says Jans at 1 Twente. The coach is also satisfied with the fitness of his team. “It is going well. We also did a test last week. We also try to do extra things every day with the boys who play less time, so that they also maintain their physical condition. That just looks very good.”
After the match against ADO Den Haag, Jans has to temporarily say goodbye to internationals Tyronne Ebuehi (Nigeria) and Halil Dervisolgu (Young Turkey). “That is strange, because we are all advised not to travel. But as professional football players we are in a beautiful exceptional position. They are checked everywhere, also with the travel and where they are going. I hope they will come back well”, says Jans.
