Denver Broncos – New Orleans Saints

In Week 11, the Denver Broncos went into the game against the in shape Miami Dolphins as underdogs for many fans, betting providers and experts. But in the end “Orange Crush” was able to take its fourth win of the season with a 20:13.

Reason for the previous victories is certainly the defense. Against the pass, Denver’s defense is one of the top ten in the NFL. When it comes to keeping your opponent out of the red zone, the Broncos are number two.

Especially Dolphins rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was overwhelmed last Sunday. He suffered six sacks and eight QB hits and was even given down in the end.

In the offense, the running game was ultimately the decisive factor. Melvin Gordon alone ran for 84 yards and two touchdowns. Phillip Lindsay was also in top form, albeit without a TD.

The passing game and Drew Lock weren’t really a factor on the other side. The quarterback is still on parole with the Broncos. Only with good performance can he secure a place in the coming season.

But Lock shows these achievements too seldom. Currently he has still thrown far more interceptions than touchdowns. Its completion is only 54.8 percent.

Now another top NFL team is waiting for Denver. Head coach Vic Fangio’s team suffered clear defeats against strong opponents, such as at 16:43 against the Chiefs or at 12:37 against the Raiders.

The use of LB Mark Barron against the Saints is questionable. Albert Okwuegbunam TE, Shelby Harris DE, Jurell Casey DL, Courtland Sutton WR, Von Miller LB and Mike Purcell DT will definitely fail.
