There is also good news for Feyenoord. Naoufal Bannis is going to extend his expiring contract with Feyenoord. The 18-year-old striker from The Hague has reached an oral agreement with the club management on a commitment until the summer of 2023. Bannis scored the winning goal against FC Emmen (2-3) as a substitute deep in injury time last week.
“This is good for Feyenoord and also good for Bannis”, said trainer Dick Advocaat shortly before the competition match with FC Groningen. “He is 18 years old and still has to live up to it. Three more years, that’s excellent for him, but also for Feyenoord. ”
Bannis exchanged the youth academy of ADO Den Haag for that of Feyenoord in 2016. Two years later he signed his first professional contract.
